KitchenAid KSM75WH Classic Plus Tilt-Head 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer reviews

Five reviews of the KitchenAid KSM75WH Classic Plus Tilt-Head 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer
1、I simply love my Kitchen Aid mixer; I would recommend any cook to own one of their own. Mine is cobalt blue so it looks nice out on the counter, its quite heavy to have to move it in and out of the cupboard, plus I use it so often.
It makes the best whipped cream and meringue but now I have the attachment to grind meat and stuff fresh sausage, too. If I could add one feature to it, it would be to have the tilt up head I see that they do have those now. I doubt if I will have the chance to upgrade, however-this machine seems to last forever!

2、I recently bought the KitchenAid Classic Plus tilt-head 4-1/2 quart stand mixer. I have used it every day since I received it. I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase one. I replace mixers every year. The others can’t take the heavy use I put them through. The KitchenAid is a sturdy built machine. The KitchenAid has been able to handle the noodle dough that I mix without bogging down. What is really great, is the ease in changing the beaters, push and turn. There were many times with the other machines I would have difficulty attaching the beaters or they would fall out when I start mixing. I don’t think I will need to replace this machine anytime soon. Don’t waste your money on the plastic mixers, they don’t hold up. I would recommend this mixer for the extreme baker or the casual baker. Great investment. Great mixer.

3、The Kitchen Aid Classic Plus Stand Mixer has been a delight to use. I used it the 1st week I got it unlike many pieces of electronics sitting around in my kitchen. My Mixer sits out ready for action despite the small amount of counter space that I have. It works wonderfully, and I look forward to making cookies with it soon.

I did miss the handle on the side after using an old industrial Kitchen Aid mixer that was donated to the local homeless shelter I volunteered at. It had the handle on it so I noted that, but the bottom of the bowl fits perfectly into my grip so it works as a handle as well. By the way they really stand up to the test of time by the old one. :-)

4、I bought this as a gift and she was thrilled to get it. She used it to make muffins and was happy with it. I began to mash potatoes (family holiday size) and the potatoes were spilling out over the sides with the mixer. I wish it had a cover with it to keep that from happening. Next time I would order the 5 quart model (probably Artisan). You pay more but I think it would be worth it. I like the tilt head and the size. I have a Rival stand mixer which I am happy with (and it has a cover).
The bowl is larger but the it takes up more space. I prefer the more slender design of the Kitchen Aide.

5、I love this mixer. I’ve had it for over two years, and I love how fast it whips cream, how thoroughly and quickly it mixes cookie dough, and I love how smooth and elastic bread dough turns out with this appliance. Be warned though, if you bake bread daily like I do, it will wear out the gaskets in about six weeks. I’ve had it repaired twice now due to this problem. I love the mixer, and I love homemade bread, so I think I just need one with a more powerful motor. I would recommend this mixer to a friend (and have!)

KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixers Reviews

Five reviews of the KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixers

1、I recently purchased an Artisan model Kitchen Aid mixer for my wife as a Christmas present. After researching the product line and price comparisons in retail outlets I chose to purchase on-line primarily for price. I received the mixer in a timely manner and upon inspecting the product after delivery I noticed that the decorative chrome strip that is located in the center of the mixer head and encompasses the entire product had a large gap on both sides where it is mounted with two screws, one on either side at the rear of the mixer. The gaps were were considerable, (approximately 1/16 inch). Upon closer inspection I thought the screws had slipped in shipment but after loosening these and sqeezing the chrome inward I could only eliminate about 50% of the problem. I still found this to be unacceptable so I removed the chrome strip and enlarged the mounting holes an additonal 1/16 inch in diameter and reassembled. This corrected the problem and my wife was pleased with the mixer as it performed flawlessy on the first application. I am left wondering whether the great price from Amazon was based on a blemished product or this was just faulty visual inspection from a lazy Korean employee. Kitchen Aid should do a better job of quality control if they are going to use the slogan “Buy it for the way it’s made”.

2、I bought this Kitchenaid Stand Mixer (red) from Amazon. I had originally purchased the 4 1/2 quart..and realized from the reviews that the 5 quart was better! I am glad i did!

I paid $199.00 for mine and it is simply worth every freaking penny that i paid! I made some sausage cheese meatballs and had over 1 pound of sausage in the mixer, along with all the other ingredients,..and this mixer did “its thang”!!

I could not believe how it was able to mix all the ingredients and stay in the bowl, I mean nothing came out of the bowl..while mixing! The funny thing is..when i make this meal..i always use my hands and i have to wear gloves because it is so messy!!

I am giving this Kitchenaid Product 5 stars!! If anyone is on the “fence” about the 5 quart or 4 1/2 quart…PURCHASE THE 5 QUART!! It is very strong and powerful..and gets the job done…in no time!!

The other thing i liked was how easy it was for me to clean up the parts and machine. I recently purchased the Kitchenaid cover and can not wait to get it..so i can cover it up and put my parts inside the pockets!!

3、I have wanted one of these for over ten years. So when my boyfriend asked what I wanted for Christmas I jokingly said a kitchenaid because that is what I am used to saying to everyone. I had no idea he would actually get it for me. I have always enjoyed baking, especially bread, but it always took so much time. For the first time today, it did not and it was BETTER than hand made. Not to mention the ridiculously yummy scones it made in minutes. The truth is, it will not make you a better cook, but it will make a good cooks life, a LOT easier. I used to kneed bread for 20 minutes (dedication or frustration…?) and today I only had to kneed for… well nothing, the mixer did it FOR ME! As a result the bread was more evenly kneaded and the French bread actually tastes like French bread!! So to sum up, if you want to bake a lot, or already do. Get this machine.

4、As a cooking/baking challenged single 41 year old, I’d been eyeballing this bad boy for a while. While I haven’t had too much time to play around with it yet this is one solid piece of equipment. It’s also quite heavy so make sure you have a permanent, accessible spot for it in you kitchen (my undersized kitchen needed to be rearranged to give my Kitchenaid the spot it needed). I’m still nervous about converting certain recipes I used to do by spoon/spatula to stand mixer for fear of over mixing but the mini cookbook included gives you good tips (I also recommend Alton Brown’s “I’m Just Here For (More) Food” as he tell you up front a Kitchenaid Professional is what he’s using for most recipes made with a mixer)

With Holidays ahead I hope to really put this baby through the works. Amazon had such a great deal and really, it’s as solid investment as you’ll make on a small kitchen appliance

5、I wanted to have a good stand mixer for years. My first one was a Sunbeam Heritage, but to be honest despite its great look, I dont think this is a long life mixer.

After reading all the reviews and asking opinions of friends and the best chefs I decided to buy a Kitchen Aid Artisan stand mixer.

Now I wonder why I waited so long? The way it mixes everything, the time it takes, the results, are just amazing. On the other hand the way it looks on my kitchen counter top, wow!

You must adjust the times you used on previous mixers to get not same but best results. This is a plus considering that times are reduced to half of what they use to take with other kind of mixers. Please read instructions KA mixers are incredibly faster than regular two beater mixers. So if you mix a cake the same time you used on cheaper mixers you might get a messy result.

Some people complain that you can not beat a simple egg white with your Kitchen Aid, thats not true. I have made it lots of times, starting with the flat beater (that reaches the bottom, it really does), and once it makes bubbles you can finish it with the wire beater. Easy as eating a cake!

Whipped cream took only 40 seconds to be ready, I had never seen it with my Sunbeam or hand held mixers. Mayonnaise was ready almost instantly, something I was only able to do with my blender not with my previous mixer.

What about making bread? I made 2 loaves of french bread last weekend and it handled them perfectly without even getting a little hot.

Regarding scraping the bowl, well you must do it with all mixers, even with more expensive brands.

For me this is the best investment I have made for my kitchen. Every time I see it I know that my KA Artisan will be with me for many years. A real great addition to any kitchen. Dont think it twice, please go for it. After all, its Kitchen Aid!
